چکیده | ||
The specific complexity of the field of architecture in terms of balanced use of new design technologies and paying attention to anthropological dimensions has led to the necessity of scientific studies in order to investigate the relationship between them. Therefore, the research has been carried out with the general purpose of investigating the role of computer in improving the quality of undergraduate architecture projects from the components of quality, software and project topic. This research is an applied type of research that is descriptive, analytical and inferential. The data needed for this research was got through the distribution of questionnaires among 86 undergraduate students in the 3rd course. The statistical T-test revealed a noteworthy distinction between genders in the role of computers in improving the quality of architectural designs. Findings showed that in terms of executive ability and creativity variables, male students had a higher mean, and in terms of research to design and aesthetic variables, female students had a higher average. Also, the results of the research findings showed that compared to other software, AutoCAD software has a better quality in improving the quality of architectural designs, which are respectively related to recreational, residential, commercial, educational and therapeutic issues. Finally, learning to use software in the design process should be based on subject-oriented specialized training. | ||
